This Local Web Site Looking for a Good Owner

Well, the offer was too good to turn down. So, the sole proprietor of this web site will be moving to a distant land in the near future. What to do with this interesting web site name? Should I keep renewing the name and keep it on a server collecting dust while I fight distant battles, or should I find an owner that will use this site for the good of the community?

The decision has been made, the second option prevails. And so I am looking for a person, or a group of people, or an organization, or a community minded business that will put this great name to good use. If you are such a person, organization, or business, please contact me and lets talk.

Verizon Turns Cold Shoulder to Hilltowns!
                                                                                                                                    Timothy J. Reardon

While Verizon offers wave after wave of new technologies to the citizens of densely populated areas, the people living in sparsely populated towns often go without. Being a citizen of such a small town (Montgomery), I have grown increasingly frustrated with Verizon's failure to provide modern and reliable service. For this reason, will dedicate its front page to address the following concerns.

  • Many people living in sparsely populated towns have unreliable services often leaving them without emergency services such as "911". A rain shower or damp conditions will often render phone services useless.
  • People living in sparsely populated towns do not have access to an equal number of "local" Verizon subscribers as to the people living in major cities such as greater Springfield.
  • People living in sparsely populated hilltowns are often put on the back burner when it comes to the installation of advanced services such as DSL.
